Naja... Volker ist prinzipiell ein netter Typ. Wobei es mich wundert, dass selbst bei ihm solche Teile rumstehen - Oasis und Placebo beispielsweise ebenfalls. Versuche doch einfach sie gegen die 4MWB-Pressung einzutauschen.
Das geht schon. Begeistert ist ja kein Händler, wenn ihm die Ware zurückgebracht wird. Bei meinen zwei Rückgaben bisher wollten sie noch nicht mal den Kassenzettel sehen.
Kursieren von Wire "Pink Flag" und "Chairs Missing" Countrefeits? Der Händler meines Vetrauens meinte, es seien Re-Issues - sahen aber etwas lusch aus...

Wenn die Platten offiziell über deutsche Vertriebe kommen, gehen die meisten Händler eben davon aus, daß es sich auch um offizielle Wiederveröffentlichungen handelt. Ich behaupte mal, daß gerade bei den Ketten die Gefahr groß ist, da fachkundiges Personal fehlt.
Es gibt auf jeden Fall (sehr gute) offizielle Reissues auf 4MWB. Die sind es nicht?
4MWB stand jedenfalls nicht drauf - aufmachung 1 zu 1 wie die originalpressung (zumindest so wie ich mir die originalpressung vorstelle), jedoch nur ein ungefütterten weissen schutzhüllen.

Es gab parallel zu den 4MWB Reissues auch Counterfeits aus dem Ruhrgebiet.

Umgerechnet etwa 18 Euro (30 Franken). "Chairs Missing" war seltsamerweise etwas teurer.

Die britische Erstpressung von CLOSER ist ebenfalls auf rotem transluciden Vinyl. Von daher ist nicht jede CLOSER, die so angeboten wird, automatisch ne Fälschung. Am Cover erkennt man es aber immer, 1980er Exemplare haben ein Altpapiercover und - innersleeve und keine Titel auf der Rückseite.
