Wir befinden uns im Jahre 2006 n. Chr. Ganz Lüdenscheid ist von schlechter Musik infiziert… Ganz Lüdenscheid? Nein! Ein unbeugsamer DJ hört nicht auf, dem musikalischen Verfall Widerstand zu leisten. Und das Leben ist nicht leicht für die Konsumenten anspruchsloser Musik, die nur der Klangtapete von „Eins Live“ lauschen und den Schrott von Saturn kaufen…
… den Mr. Goldrush ist nahezu höllisch produktiv und setzt seinen Kreuzzug unbarmherzig fort. Mittlerweile sind innerhalb von knapp 4 Monaten 34 Ausgaben von GOLDRUSH erschienen und ein Leben ohne diese Sendung ist gar nicht mehr vorstellbar. Was als eine nette Idee begann, ist mittlerweile schon viel mehr als nur ein Hobby oder die Verwirklichung eines Traums geworden – es ist die Luft, die ich zum Atmen brauche!
Nachfolgend die Playlists der ersten 15 Ausgaben – der Rest folgt nach und nach! OK, die Playlists vermitteln nur ein sehr begrenztes Bild der einzelnen Ausgaben, aber man kann anhand der Songs schon in etwa die Stimmung der jeweiligen Shows erahnen. Jede Sendung ist dabei auf eine normale CD-Länge begrenzt, d. h. max. 80 Minuten – zwischen den einzelnen Songs versucht der DJ halbwegs intelligente Sachen zur gespielten Musik zum Besten zu geben, wobei er anfangs doch noch erhebliche Probleme hatte und alles etwas hölzern wirkte. Das legte sich aber ziemlich schnell (Naja, fast!!!). Die Zahl der Hörerschaft ist ziemlich „übersichtlich“, soll heißen, ich nehme die Sendung zur Zeit eigentlich nur für mich und aus Liebe zur Musik auf – ein kleiner Freundeskreis (2-3 Leute) konnte bisher ebenfalls reinhören.

Deine Kompilationen sind topp, ich werde den Thread aber in das Forum „My Playlist“ schieben, dort gehört es hin, und seinen Zwilling im Roots-Unterforum löschen, weil es dort ausschließlich um die Sendung Roots geht (und sich WD „bedanken“ würde, wenn dort CDs angepriesen werden, unabhängig vom Inhalt). Außerdem sind inhaltlich identische Threads nicht notwendig.

vielen lieben Dank für Deine Hilfe! Habe gerade von WD als auch von einem weiteren User schon so einen Hinweis bekommen. Du hast mir da echt weitergeholfen, hätte wahrscheinlich etwas gedauert, bis ich das bereinigt hätte. Aber mein Gott? Wurde im ROOTS-Forum nicht letztens noch ewig über Fußball diskutiert? Trotzdem – many thanks! Bein nächsten Mal weiß ich dann Bescheid!

OK – ich gebe meinen Irrtum ja zu und lasse mich gerne belehren. War halt das erste Mal und um Fußball ging’s im ROOTS-Forum auch nicht. War ein anderer Bereich, bin ja noch neu hier – SORRY! Wäre aber ganz wunderbar, wenn wir nunmehr über Musik sprechen könnten. Würde mich echt freuen – Kommentare zu GOLDRUSH sind – wie gesagt – herzlich wilkommen!

PS: Ich muss Dich allerdings nochmal „quälen“, da es schon einen Thread zum Köln-Konzert der Stones gibt, worauf ich eben aufmerksam gemacht wurde, werde ich Deinen damit vereinigen. Da das Forumsarchiv so unüberschaubar groß geworden ist, versuchen wir Mods, in solchen Fällen ein wenig strukturierend einzugreifen, im Interesse aller Nutzer.

Da Pitney hier gleich im Viererpack daher kommt – den finde ich auch ziemlich großartig, meine Favoriten wären (neben Something’s … natürlich) Backstage und The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.
Mir fällt auch – durchaus nicht unangenehm – auf, dass in Deinen Playlists auch so ein paar Namen wie Mike Oldfield oder ELO auftauchen, die nicht ganz dem „Kanon“ entsprechen, ich nehme an, Favoriten aus Deiner Jugendzeit? (Ich selber bin hier ja der „Experte“ für „guilty pleasures“ bzw. leugne standhaft, dass es sowas überhaupt gibt ;-)).

schon in dieser ersten „Sitzung“ bist Du mir ans Herz gewachsen. Leider muss ich jetzt erst mal Schluss machen, bin demnächst wieder hier und erzähle Dir mehr. Nur soviel: Mit Mike Odlfield und ELO triffst Du genau den Punkt, war ja auch das „Personal Special“, da ging’s in erster Linie um meine Jugend. Gene Pitney, der ja leider in diesem Jahr verstorben ist, findet sich übrigens ebenfalls noch mehrmals wieder, u. a. gemeinsam mit George Jones. Werde Deine genannten Titel mit Sicherheit aber auch noch spielen. Habe mir das StoneFM-Radio mal angeschaut – ehrlich gesagt entspricht das ja fast zu 100% meinen kühnsten Träumen. Muss mir aber überlegen, ob ich für eine derartige Ausgabe mein GOLDRUSH-Konzept (eine CD-Länge, 80 Minuten) über den Haufen werfen sollte und eine spezielle Sendung anfertige. Habe bisher auch noch nicht reingehört, werde ich aber bei Gelegenheit auf jeden Fall mal machen. Nach dem ganzen Anfangs-Schwierigkeiten hier im Forum habe ich mich zunächst mal auf die WICHTIGEN Dinge konzentriert und die Ausgaben #35 und #36 aufgenommen. Ich dachte, hier geht es um die Band „Goldrush“. :wave:

Schöne Zusammenstellungen sind das, Goldrush.
Davon höre ich 70 – 75 % immer wieder regelmäßig.Mir fällt auch auf, daß Du bestimmte Stücke von Alben auflegst, die mir selbst auch am Herzen liegen, wie z.B. Dr. Wu v. Steely Dan oder von Talking Heads – Listening Wind.
Legst Du auch Giant Sand oder Steve Wynn auf?

Prinzipiell würde ich Steve Wynn und Giant Sand natürlich auflegen – muß aber zu meiner eigenen Schande gestehen, dass mein Tonträger-Bestand in dieser Richtung ein kleines Defizit aufweist, d. h. zur Zeit besitze ich nur ein paar Songs dieser Künstler. Wird sich aber mit Sicherheit ändern – allerdings kann das noch ein wenig dauern, da ich eigentlich eh schon viel zu viel Geld in Musik investiere (obwohl man dafür ja eigentlich gar nicht genug ausgeben kann -> wie gesagt: Lebensinhalt). „Ein wenig dauern“ heißt: in Kürze
Wirst Du dann mit Sicherheit hier erfahren können… – hast Du sonst noch Anregungen oder Vorschläge zu Interpreten, die bisher zu kurz gekommen sind? Trotz der 80 Minuten pro Sendung ist es immer ganz fürchterlich, wenn die Zeit mal wieder nicht reicht und Songs entfallen; obwohl die Frequenz der einzelnen Veröffentlichungen ja doch recht hoch ist, ist mir bestimmt eine ganze Menge durch die Lappen gegangen.--
