Endlich! Vier Jahre nach „Night Falls Over Kortedala“, steht eine neue VÖ von Jens Lekman an: eine EP. Mit einem LP-Nachfolger kann man wohl erst im kommenden Jahr rechnen, wie zumindest DIESES Interview vermuten lässt.
Die EP erscheint am 19.9. (über SC) und heißt „An Argument With Myself“.

….But I’ve grinded these beans for you now and I finished the last mixes last night. I just have some mastering to do and some design to finish. Two-three different bands to rehearse with for the tours. Three videos to make. A million interviews to sit through. A few months to let the distributors and labels set up their plans. A summer of being worried about what you’re going to think of the album. And then it will be out.

Vorhin entdeckt, es gibt etwas Neues von Jens Lekman. Allerdings hat er das Album gemeinsam mit der wunderbaren Annika Norlin (aka Hello Saferide) aufgenommen. Es heißt „Correspondence“, wurde am 19.04.2019 veröffentlicht und ist wunderschön geworden! Ganz reduziert, überwiegend nur begleitet von einer Akustikgitarre, ab und an taucht auch noch eine Violine auf.

Ich habe es mir gerade gekauft. Wie es scheint, gibt es die Platte aber leider nur als Digital Album, zumindest habe ich nichts anderes entdecken können.
