weilstein“Öde“ ist natürlich deutlich weniger beliebig. Mir gefällt ziemlich viel an „Sirens“. Tracks wie „Swans“, „Drive By Shooting“, aber vor allem „Innocence“, hätten in einer besseren Welt großes Hitpotential. Auch die Produktion ist klasse. Trotz PJ/Cure/New Wave-Anleihen hat das Album durchaus seine eigene Identität. Daß Laura Carbone dazu noch eine sehr interessante Erscheinung ist, macht die Sache auch nicht gerade schlechter.
Ja ok. Ich werde sie mir nochmal genauer anhören. Aufmachung, Gimmix (Sticker, Postkarte, Inlay, Signatur) und Klang des Vinyls ist alles sehr vorbildlich. Musikalisch war mir das bisher zu nah an den Vorbildern und auch etwas zu seicht produziert. Typisch deutsch halt.
