Doppel-LP mit: Grover Washington Jr., Weather Report, The Manhattan Transfer, Pieces of a Dream, Nancy Wilson, Art Farmer-Benny Golson Jazztet, Dexter Gordon w/Woody Shaw, The Great Quartet (McCoy Tyner, Freddie Hubbard, Ron Carter, Elvin Jones)
Augenommen im Juni 1982 – interessiert mich bestimmt nicht alles, aber die Jazztet-Tracks („Stablemates“ und „I Remember Clifford“), die vierte Seite mit dem Great Quartet) und die beiden Gordon-Tracks tollen die Anschaffung lohnenswert machen… Seite 1 mit Pieces of a Dream und Grover Washington interessiert mich nicht, Weather Report taucht nur mit „Volcano for Hire“ auf, die Manhattan Transfer wurden geholt, um den erfolgreichen Weather Report-Auftritt am 1981er Festival zu toppen (sie singen natürlich „Birdland“) und Nancy Wilson wird auf ihren drei Stücken vom Jazztet begleitet. Sieht jedenfalls insgesamt ganz gut aus!
