The NightwatchWieso?
Keith Jarrett hat vielleicht ein halbes Dutzend brauchbarer bis guter Alben eingespielt, meist mit seinem amerikanischen Trio oder Quartett. Allerdings hat keines dieser Einspielungen für mich die Bedeutung anderer Trioplatten. Was seine Soloausflüge für Eicher angeht, so würde ich keins dieser Alben als Jazz bezeichnen.

Ja, alle gehört. Auf „Looking Ahead!“ mag ich besonders „Excursion On A Wobbly Rail“, aber auch der Rest ist jederzeit hörenswert. Schön auch CTs Interplay mit Earl Griffith. werde die von Dir genannten aber nochmals prüfen.

Der Teufel ist ein Optimist, wenn er glaubt, dass er die Menschen schlechter machen kann. "Fackel" - Karl KrausInteressant, dass Wynton Kelly hier erst ein einziges Mal genannt wurde. Höre seine Musik sehr gerne und halte ihn für einen ausgezeichneten Bop-Pianisten.

Ich würde noch Duke Jordan nennen, der gerade in seinen Steeplechase-Jahren einfach wunderbar abgehangene und relaxte Sachen zu Stande gebracht hat.
Mit Horace Parlan habe ich mich weniger beschäftigt, aber ich finde die rythmischen Figuren bemerkenswert, die er mit seiner verkrüppelten Hand geschaffen hat!--
