We take it as quite a nice compliment that so many of you are impatiently waiting to hear what will be the first new music since CHICAGO XXX. We are moving slowly on this project. Instead of taking a year off to record, we are attempting, with the assistance of Lee L. and a co-ordinating engineer/producer team, to record/work: we write, arrange, sketch, ruff mix

as we go on touring. I have worked on these titles:

'Something's Coming, I Know' (w/gerry beckley)

'Watching All the Colors in My Head' (w/lou pardini)

'Naked in the Garden of Allah' (w/hank linderman)

'Home'(w/jason scheff and 2 others)


'Free at Last' (w/keith howland & tris imboden)


Jason has 4 songs done, Keith has a couple more, as does Lou.

While we are both thrilled and grateful for your anxious anticipation of new original Chicago songs, we are totally committed, as in all past endeavors, to giving you only the very best that we can give.

Preparations for another busy touring season as well as acquiring and configuring mobile recording capability take time. We are very excited by the potential of presenting new music from the band direct to all of you throughout the 2012 touring season (Beweise! Ich will Beweise! )and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we do everything we can to ensure the highest quality possible.

Also, "du" sagst das. O.K. Für mich nennenswert sind auf jeden Fall die "SoS" und "Night and Day" - dort zwar keine eigenkomponierte, aber in meinen Ohren gut arrangierte Musik. Und das kann auch nicht jeder.

As you know, we are steadily preparing new Chicago songs, as our tour schedule permits. We
greatly appreciate all the positive feedback and support in our recent posts on the subject.

Today, I am announcing a special "meet the band" promotion. This will run as a trial, however if successful,
it will continue thru 2013 as a regular part of our outreach.

Many Premium Access subscribers have requested the ability to "meet and greet" the band backstage at our
live shows. Logistically, granting all requests would be impossible, but we ARE adding a new benefit for

For every show beginning July 25,2012 we will randomly pick a PREMIUM ACCESS SUBSCRIBER from a "request pool". That fan will receive 2 complimentary tickets and 2 back stage passes to meet Chicago before the show!

1. PREMIUM ACCESS SUBSCRIBER should live within 100 mile radius of venue.

Wie ich sehe, gibt es inzwischen ein zweites Album der Band, das aber wohl bisher nur in den USA erschienen ist.
