Tatsächlich ein wunderbares Album. Immer noch nach all den Jahren. Ich musste es gestern Abend direkt mal wieder auflegen.

Die Beatles-Einflüsse sind klar, aber diesen minimalen Prince/Soul/Funk-Einschlag findet man in Kombination dazu nicht so oft. Der Opener klingt mir ein bisschen zu sehr nach Simple Minds, dafür gibt es aber klare 5er wie das smoothe „Ain’t gonna come till I’m ready“. Insgesamt eine Platte die Spaß macht.
