Im Durchschnitt ist man kummervoll und weiß nicht, was man machen solljesseblueBei dir hätte ich mit AM gerechnet, firecracker.
Mag ich (inzwischen). Als es rauskam war ich bei den Arctic Monkeys ausgestiegen. Zuviel Rock. ;) Mit Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino erst wieder eingestiegen – und erst danach AM in Gänze gehört.
Eigentlich wollte ich alle Alben von Ages & Ages reinnehmen. Bei 20 Alben wird’s dann doch ein bisschen eng.

Ah, Declan… in den warst du ja mal verknallt…Und sogar die gleiche Platzierung.
Ich mag ja Vielfalt. Aber an What Do You Think about the Car? stört mich das Fragmentarische im Klang ein bisschen. Hätten lieber alle Songs nochmal neu aufnehmen sollen. Gerade weil er noch so jung war und sich die Stimme ja noch sehr verändert. Die Original-Aufnahmen hätten ja auf eine Bonus Disc gekonnt.

Bin ja eigentlich großer Fan von Andrew Bird. Sein Auftritt im großen Saal des Koninklijke Schouwburgs in Rotterdam im Rahmen des Crossing Border Festivals zähle ich zu meinen schönsten Konzerterlebnissen ever, aber die Faszination von My Finest Work Yet mag sich mir nicht so recht erschließen. Gutes Album, keine Frage. Aber so viel besser als Armchair Apocrypha (2007), das hier im Forum viel weniger Aufmerksamkeit bekommen hat?
Mit The Twilight Sad habe ich mich bisher viel zu wenig befasst.
