stardogIch werde hier nicht mitmachen. Besitze nur elf Alben von Mingus. Trotzdem lese ich hier mit großem Interesse mit.
da interessiert den geneigten Mingus-Hörer natürlich welche das sind…..und natürlich dann auch die Antwort auf die Frage „Warum nicht mehr?“
Mit nur 11 Alben bist Du natürlich im bundesweiten Durchschnitt total abgeschlagen.
Andererseits macht es die Aufgabe doch leicht, musst ja nur eins streichen.--

.Verrückt @atom – das war mir noch gar nicht aufgefallen! Hatte meine Liste seit ein paar Wochen in einem separaten File in Arbeit und noch gar nicht genauer verglichen – alle zehn Alben gleich, nur etwas anders gerankt!
Danke @redbeans, damit sind wir bei 10 Listen angekommen … hoffe, es folgen noch einige weitere, es bleiben ja noch fast zwei Wochen!
„Let My Children“ lag bei mir übrigens am Ende auf Platz 21.

Die Top 3 sind wohl gesetzt, dahinter wird es enger, v.a. auf den Plätzen 6-10 kann schon eine hohe Platzierung die Reihenfolge wieder durcheinanderwirbeln.
Punkte erhalten haben inzwischen 30 Alben. 8 davon wurden ein einziges Mal genannt, nur eines taucht in allen 11 Listen auf, je ein weiteres in 10 bzw. 9 Listen.

Ich habe diese CD und die enthält sehr viele Übereinstimmungen mit Mingus Dynasty, aber auch einen Track, der nicht darauf zu finden ist, und zwar exakt den Titelsong (The Shoes Of The Fisherman’s Wife Are Some Jive Ass Slippers).
Die CD ist offenbar eine Originalveröffentlichung mit liebevollen Liner Notes von Chris Albertson von der Stereo Review.
Kennt jemand hierfür die Begründung, sprich den Zusammenhang zu Mingus Dynasty?--
