Es startet die angekündigte Umfrage zu den 20 besten Tracks der Band „The Smiths“.
Gegründet 1982 in Manchester fand sich schon im gleichen Jahr die finale Besetzung mit Morrissey, Marr, Rourke und Joyce. Bis zum Bandsplit im Jahr 1987 schenkte die Band uns 4 Studioalben, 21 Singles, darunter 10 Non-Album-Singles sowie 3 Compilation-Alben. Kurz nach dem Split kam noch ein Live-Album hinzu. Insgesamt blicken wir auf eine einigermaßen überschaubare Discografie.
Die Umfrage bleibt geöffnet bis zum 29.03.2023 um 23:59 Uhr.
Ich hoffe auf rege Teilnahme und bin gespannt auf das Ergebnis.

Überraschend, wie viele (und welche) Titel besser als die Nr. 8 und 9 eingestuft werden.
