The Magnificent Seven is a new 5CD+DVD Waterboys box set that tells the story of the seven-piece line up from the Fisherman’s Blues 1989 tour through to the release of the band’s fifth album, Room to Roam in 1990.
As well as the remastered Room To Roam album, this set contains more than 80 previously unreleased tracks over four additional CDs packed with demos, unreleased studio tracks, live and informal jams/sessions.
The DVD contains two complete 1989 audience films of Glastonbury Festivaland Milan, home movies and professional footage at Spiddal House during the making of Room To Roam, plus films shot on Waterboys visits to Spiddal in 2010 and 2012.

Ich hab noch nicht die Titel gecheckt aber die „Fisherman’s Box“ geht von 86 bis 88 die neue von 89 bis 90. Der eine oder andere Song wird wohl in einer weiteren Version auftauchen.

Ne, gibt es nicht, wie schon geschrieben wurde. Was (mir) nicht so ganz klar war. Die Hälfte der Box besteht aus Liveaufnahmen, was die Box (für mich) wesentlich interessanter macht, denn ich bin nicht so der Room To Roam-Fan.

Ich habe sie für sehr wenig Geld erworben, wollte dann einen Link zum Sonderangebot posten, als ich bemerkte, dass es nicht mehr gilt. Ich habe aber noch nichts gehört.
