in der intro ist ein ganz schöner (2-seitiger) artikel, zum beispiel. (na ja, eine seite artikel, die andere poster).

und bei http://plattentests.de/ ist es die platte der woche, oder des monates. egal. sie wird auf jeden fall ganz oben angekündigt.

Look out kid You're gonna get hitschlimm? wieso? ich find’s toll, sowie der gesamte artikel auch klasse ist.
(war gar nicht so einfach, die spex zu bekommen … entweder sind musikzeitschriften – außer welche, deren cover gruselige typen zieren – vom aussterben bedroht, oder ich wohn‘ in der ‚falschen‘ gegend – ich fürchte und hoffe, letzteres ist der fall. ;) hm, ’ne riesige auswahl an magazinen mit nackten frauen auf’m cover gab’s dafür im ersten kiosk – wozu die große auswahl? als ob die sich groß unterscheiden würden. lol und halt ein paar zeitschriften mit sehr haarigen, grimmig dreinschauenden männern… muss man inzwischen u-bahn fahren, um die spex – gleiches gilt für den rolling stone – zu bekommen. also wirklich.)

Band also set to reissue classic LPThe Lemonheads are set to release a new album in April 2008.
Frontman Evan Dando said the band were recording early next year.
He told Billboard: „Yeah, there is new music, and I’ll be recording in January. But I don’t want to talk about the record too much.“
The band, whose eponymous 2006 LP was their first release in ten years, are set to being a US tour on November 30 in San Francisco.
Dando said he was excited about the tour because it meant touring with the new members of the band – drummer Bill Stevenson and bassist Karl Alvarez.
He said: „After touring for 10 months, we’ve given the album a fair shake, but the exciting part of the next tour is that it’s with the people who actually played on the album. It’s the first tour with Bill and Karl, so to me it’s like a rebirth of the record.“
Dando is also working on a deluxe edition of the band’s classic 1992 album ‚It’s a Shame About Ray‘ which will include demos, B-sides and a DVD from the era. It is due to be released in March.

Wegen firecracker mal wieder „Come on feel the lemonheads“ von 1993 entmottet.
Fast nur „Killertracks“ u. Frau Hetfields Zweitsimme macht süchtig. Dando hat damals die Songs scheinbar läsigsts aus dem Ärmel geschüttelt. Besonderes witzig, seine Verneigung vor Lenny Kravitz beim 1. Hidden track (insgesamt sind es glaub ich 4-5 sic!!!). Fiel mir erst jetzt auf, dass der Song eine Verneigung vor „Are you gonna go my way“ aus dem gleichen Jahr darstellen soll. „Lenny you’re so good to me any you’re only sixteen babe, allright“.--
