and now we rise and we are everywherenikodemusDas Großartige, was viele in Face To Face hören, hat sich mir immer noch nicht erschlossen. Die Songs bleiben (warum auch immer) nicht hängen, die Melodien überzeugen mich nicht vollends. Da finde ich das was danach kam durchweg stärker
geht mir zum teil ähnlich. vier sterne bekommts trotzdem.

Dito! Knappe ****, wäre bei mir „nur“ auf Platz 6 unter den Kinks-Alben. Ihr Meisterwerk ist für mich eindeutig Something Else (sehr gute ****1/2), gefolgt von Village Green, Muswell Hillbillies, Lola + Arthur (alle ****).
