Heute hab ich einen riesen Radau veranstaltet, dass JCVD nicht dabei ist, da erzählt mir ein Freund, dass Bruce Willis, der anscheinend schon eine Cameo sicher hat, dem mal eine Watschn gegeben hätte und Jean-Claude seitdem in der Actionschauspielerwelt total untendurch wäre. Schade, schade.
Ich versteh aber immer noch nicht was dieser Whitaker da verloren hat.--

(Wo ich schon mal hier bin: Ich freue mich auch schon auf die Nebenrollen und somit etwas kleineren Auftritte von Charisma Carpenter, Eric Roberts, Terry Crews und „Stone Cold“ Steve Austin.)Jetzt bin ich schlauer. Lies mal das.
Terry Crews nervt in jeder Rolle wie Sau und von Stone Cold Steve Austin hab ich mir eigentlich eine Hauptrolle erhofft. Den fand ich ja damals bei Nash Bridges schon gut.
(Wenn die schon einen Quotenschwarzen wollen wieso nicht Wesley Snipes oder am besten James Earl Jones als beauftragenden Geheimadmiral!)

Now who here among us still believes in choice? - Not I!Als Quotenschwarzen wollte Sly wohl auch tatsächlich erst Snipes haben, der macht aber weiter auf Christoph Daum des Actionfilms und ballert sich sinnfrei und zugekokst durch C-Movies/Direct-to-Video-Schätzchen, die ratzfatz im Ostblock runtergekurbelt werden. Dann ging es um Whitaker und Fifty – und am Ende machte Terry Crews wohl das Rennen. Zumindest habe ich das so verstanden. Aber ich werde Sly noch mal genau fragen, beim Schützenfest oder wann wir uns das nächste Mal über’n Weg laufen…

Rourke and Brittany Murphy were in Sin City (2005) although not in the same scenes. Rourke, Roberts and Murphy were in Spun (2002), where Murphy also played Rourke’s girlfriend as she does in this movie. Rourke and Sylvester Stallone acted together in the remake of Get Carter (2000). Stallone and Roberts were hero and villain respectively in The Specialist (1994). Danny Trejo acted with Roberts in Runaway Train (1985), with Rourke in Point Blank (1998), Animal Factory (2000) and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) and with Stallone in Lock Up (1989) and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003). Stallone and Dolph Lundgren were in Rocky IV (1985). Jet Li and Jason Statham starred in The One (2001) and War (2007). (Rourke and Statham will also appear together in the upcoming 13 (2010).)
