Sehe ich ähnlich. Die Gitarre nervt nach einer halben Minute schon leicht und Vocals und Melodie reißen mich jetzt spontan auch nicht vom Hocker. Na, erstmal das Album abwarten…

Beatles set to join online music revolution
LONDON (Reuters) – The Beatles are preparing to sell their songs online after years of refusing to take part in the Internet music boom, according to testimony given by the head of their record company.
Neil Aspinall, a former Beatles road manager and managing director of Apple Corps, was a witness in the company’s trademark lawsuit against Apple Computer.
He said that the company was digitally remastering the entire Beatles catalog, which would pave the way for selling the songs online.
„I think it would be wrong to offer downloads of the old masters when I am making new masters,“ he said in a written statement submitted to the High Court in London earlier this month.
„It would be better to wait and try to do them both simultaneously so that you then get the publicity of the new masters and the downloading, rather than just doing it ad hoc.“
A spokeswoman for Apple Corps confirmed Aspinall’s statement, and said that the company is preparing to make the Beatles catalog available through online music services.
„There’s no firm date on any of this at the moment. There are a lot of projects that Apple are working on at the moment,“ she said on Thursday.
The Beatles have been high-profile holdouts from the booming online music sector, which saw sales triple to $1.1 billion in 2005.
Apple Corps, owned by Beatles Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono and the estate of George Harrison, have accused Apple Computer of violating a 1991 agreement by using the Apple name and logo to sell music downloads through its market-leading iTunes Music Store.
The trial ended on April 6, with a decision from the judge due after Easter.

…aber der Beatles Fangemeinschaft jahrzehntelang (so lang wie kein anderer in der Branche) die old masters als teure CDs andrehen. Sowas scheinheiliges! :haue:

Hatte mir vorhin mal wieder die Anthology auf DVD angeschaut, und denke genau das was du auch denkst, immer wieder. Die Überband schlechthin. Ein tolles Gefühl, wenn man immer wieder in den Genuss der einzelnen Klänge dieser Band kommen darf.
Auch wenn ich nebenbei auch andere Bands höre, komme ich nach einer gewissen Zeit immer wieder zu den Beatles zurück. Das mag was heißen…

Ging mir erst vor ein paar Tagen so. Da lief “I want to hold your hand“. Ich bin wie so eine aufgeschreckte Henne ins Wohnzimmer zu meinem Dad gerannt und rief laut: “DIE BEATLES IM RADIO!! :lach: “
Ohne die Beatles geht gar nichts mehr. Theoretisch kann ich sie in jeder Lebenssituation hören. Genug Songauswahl gibts ja.

ja, ich bin auch immer ganz aus dem häuschen wenn ich beatles im radio höre! aber das kommt auch nicht allzu oft vor, dass die beatles spielen!
Die Beatles sind schon fast mit einem Familienmitglied zu vergleichen!

ja ja… wenn ich dann auch noch an die zwei Paul McCartney-Konzerte denke… :lach: ich hoffe der Sack kommt noch mal in meine Nähe! (okay, zürich ist ja auch nicht grad in meiner nähe, aber für paul würde ich nochmal 15 stunden zugfahrt [also insgesamt 30] in Kauf nehmen…)

Ich wüsste gar nicht, wie ich reagieren würde, wenn er dann vorne auf der Bühne steht, einen Beatles Song interpretiert, und ich das sehen kann.
