Nicht dass ich wüsste … aber vier der Filme sind frisch vom MoMA (drei davon mit finanzieller Unterstützung von Rothman selbst) restauriert worden, der fünfte „Group Marriage“, wurde via Vinegar Syndrome gezeigt (die haben die Filme wohl irgendwie im Verleih) … von „Terminal Island“ wurde einmal die restaurierte DCP, einmal eine 35mm Vintage-Kopie gezeigt, ich war in der Vorstellung mit letzterer. Und von dem Film gibt’s bei Vinegar Syndrome teure Sammler-Ausgabe auf BD.

Vor drei Wochen war Stephanie Rothman im Deutschen Filmmuseum in Frankfurt/Main zu Gast, an zwei Abenden, um ihre Filme „Männer wie die Tiger“ und „Working Girls“ vorzustellen. Im Frankfurter Filmmuseum lief im August eine Rothman-Retrospektive. Hatte ich überlegt, mir das anzuschauen: Stephanie Rothman in Frankfurt
