Warum das nicht so groß geworden ist wie das von ihm produzierte „As It Was“ ist und bleibt ein großes Rätsel.Für mich nicht, und das soll gar nichts Negatives über den Song sagen, der ist schon gut. Am Beispiel von „As It Was“ könnte man aber ein Handbuch für den perfekten Pop-Hit schreiben als Summe aus musikalischem Zeitgeist, klarem Konzept, Künstlerpersönlichkeit, textlichen und visuellen story telling, hookgeladene Produktion, musikalische Dramaturgie usw. usw.
2009 war aber auch insgesamt ein starkes Jahr für britischen Pop …
