Kim Richey – „Chase Wild Horses“ (2018)

Vorab-Track aus ihrem neuen Album Edgeland (30.03.). Ein prägnantes und eingängiges Stück Americana, üppig arrangiert, aber nicht überladen. Für mich klingt das nach einem potentiellen Hit.

Noch ein bisschen schöner finde ich aber mein Instrumentalstück des Tages:
Catrin Finch & Seckou Keita – „Clarach“ (2018)

Auch das walisisch-senegalesische Duo (Harfe und Kora) bringt ein neues Album heraus (Soar, 27.04.), und Vorbote ist dieses ruhig angelegte, aber von innerer Spannung erfüllte Stück mit Aufhellung und Steigerung zum Ende hin.
