Wo man in den Schnippseln Parallelen zu „Cardinology“ hört, ist mir allerdings auch ein Rätsel. „III/IV“ scheint zum Glück doch etwas lebhafter, weniger gediegen geraten zu sein.

Wo man in den Schnippseln Parallelen zu „Cardinology“ hört, ist mir allerdings auch ein Rätsel. „III/IV“ scheint zum Glück doch etwas lebhafter, weniger gediegen geraten zu sein.Nach zwei Schnippseldurchgängen könnte das mal wieder eine der besseren Scheiben werden, dass mich allerdings auch eher an die rockigeren Werke als an „Cardinology“ erinnert, warten wir mal das fertige Werk ab.
Dead–“III/IV“ sind ja keine richtigen Alben, Archivzusammenstellung wie bei „Demolition“.
Gar nicht schlecht für eine Archivzusammenstellung äußerst gelungen und gefällt mir besser als einige seiner regulären Alben, wenn III/IV den Standart hält wäre ich zufrieden.

Krimis, Thriller und Urban Fantasy - weitere Infos unter www.soeren-prescher.deHmm…ich gehöre wohl auch eher zu den Leuten, die Gold nicht so stark einschätzen wie z.B. Heartbreaker, Love is Hell oder Cold Roses. Natürlich sind auch großartige Songs darauf enthalten („Nobody Girl“ wurde ja schon erwähnt, dazu noch „The Rescue Blues“, „When the stars go blue“ usw.), dennoch üben die anderen Alben insgesamt eine größere Faszination auf mich aus.
Vielleicht liegt es ja auch ein Stück weit daran, durch welche Alben man den Einstieg in die bunte Welt eines Ryan Adams gefunden hat.
Bei mir waren es z.B. seinerzeit die beiden Love is Hell-EPs – Gold hingegen habe ich erst relativ spät gehört.Zu Cardinals III/IV:
Vielversprechende Platte, zumindest nach den bisherigen Songschnippseln zu urteilen. „Breakdown into the Resolve“, „Sewers…“, „Gracie“, „Typecast“ & „Death and Rats“ wären da meine Favoriten.--

Na vielleicht legen sie nochmal nach sind ja noch ein paar tage bis zum 14.12.

Weiß zufällig jemand mehr darüber, z.b. wie hoch die Auflage sein wird oder ob es auch eine normale Ausgabe davon geben wird?--
"and now for something completely different!"Hat jemand irgendwelche Informationen bezüglich der Veröffentlichung? Laut amazon-Mail ist der voraussichtliche Versand jetzt zwischen dem 08.01. und 11.01.2011. Und bei amazon selbst ist das Album jetzt nicht mal mehr bestellbar. :roll:
