:director: Bei mir wäre „Balinese Dancer“ wegen 4 überragender Balladen (2/5/8/10) klar vorne (noch vor „Homemade blood“), „Feast of Hearts“ dagegen eher im hinteren Drittel, gerade extra noch mal angehört …

P.S. Sollte jemand von Euch die „Age of Miracles“ als CD haben, würde mich sehr interessieren, ob die bei Euch ein Booklet hat …

P.S: „Feast of hearts“ hörst Du natürlich unverzeihlich schlecht. Aber das geht leider anderen auch so. Ich habe es nie verstanden.

Danke, pipe! Bei mir fehlt im Digipak das Booklet, da hat mich wer reingelegt …

„Feast of hearts“ höre ich keinesfalls schlecht (locker ***1/2), am Anfang ist die Platte sogar richtig stark („Longshot Lullaby“ groß, „How Many Angels“ sehr gut). Nur sind mir halt die meisten anderen Platten von Chuck deutlich lieber (wie Balinese Dancer, Homemade blood, Age of Miracles oder seine letzten beiden).

was mich wirklich irritiert ist die schlechte Platzierung von „No other love“, nur so aus dem Bauch heraus für mich eins seiner besten Alben, sollte so denke ich in den top 5 liegen, homemade blood seh ich auch auf 1, danach geht es aber sehr eng zu, sehe da keine so große Spreizung von ***** – ***1/2, alles **** aufwärts, Dreaming Waylon’s dreams ist das einzige Album was mir fehlt, utopische Preise fürs Vinyl und gebrauchte CDs kauf ich nicht und streamen kommt nicht in Frage……Night surfer könnte auf 2 gehen, Temple beautiful auch hoch, hab ihn dieses Jahr live in Heilbronn im Waldhaus gehört und gesehen, war ein tolles Konzert in sehr kleinem Rahmen, hoffe  er bleibt uns noch lange mit tollen Alben erhalten…..

Eklatant bei pipe-bowl ist ja nur das schlechte Abschneiden von „Soap And Water“ noch hinter „Let Freedom Ring“ . Aber „No Other Love“ schneidet auch deutlich zu schlecht ab. Da muss er/sie wohl noch mal ran.
