Rein rechnerisch ergeben sich momentan ****, doch in der Majorität der Stücke steckt die Hinwendung zum Generischen, die ab und an durchbricht.
„Hairshirt“ wirkt wie ein dahinimprovisierter Ausfall. Auf dem Vorgänger und dem Nachfolger waren sie wieder kreativer.
Hier ist eine wirklich gute, aber nicht überragende Songkollektion gegeben.
Die Welttournee zum Album und „Tourfilm“ aus dieser Ära sind jedoch über jeden Zweifel erhaben (z.B. durch das ironische „Be all that you can be/ In the army“ vor „Orange Crush“).--
