Ein gutes Album, dessen schneidender Rock’n’Roll einen mit seiner Unbändigkeit sicherlich weghauen kann. Bei mir reicht das jetzt nicht für Höchstnoten, es sind eher die ruhigen Nummern, die mich in den Bann ziehen. Das paranoide „Horses in my dreams“, was ein bisschen an eine Mischung aus Nick Cave und den Tindersticks erinnert, ist mein klarer Favorit. Es wundert mich, dass genau dieser Song von den „Fans“ nicht so hoch besternt wird.
