Oh, mann ich wünsch mir so sehr ne Europa-Tour. Vielleicht im November, nach Halloween? oder 4-5 Aufwärm-gigs Ende Oktober?ShanksDa war ich wohl ein bisschen voreilig mit den taylorc-Aufnahmen. Zum Vergleich habe ich mir mal noch die B&K-Aufnahmen geladen und die sind noch viel besser!

wobei livephish.com den Teil nach dem vocal jam als „Gorge jam“ verkauft, wohl weil es nicht mehr soviel mit dem Original gemein hat. Gute Version, aber bei diesen heavy-funk-Monstern, auch bei Crosseyed, gilt nach wie vor: 97/98 bleibt unerreicht.
Die Band ist allerdings 2 Klassen besser als Hampton und bei den meisten shows auch eine ganze Klasse besser als bei der Summer tour pt.1, die segues sprechen da für sich. You Enjoy Myself > Undermind > Drums > Seven Below > 2001 > Waves ist nicht nur wegen Bill Kreutzman klasse, Cities -> Maze vom 05.08. find ich auch gut, leider kommt Mikes Bass beim SBD wieder mal kaum zur Geltung.

Phish bass player Mike Gordon told the Poughkeepsie Journal a few minutes ago that he and his band mates will continue to tour after they play three shows, on Halloween weekend, in California.
„Beyond that, we’re definitely doing some playing,“ Gordon said during a telephone interview. „I think in the soon future.“
Phish has not announced any tour dates beyond Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in Indio, Calif. The band recently completed a summer tour.
Gordon said he is „very excited“ about the upcoming, yet-to-be announced Phish tour dates.
He said Phish, after the Halloween shows, will take some time off, during which Gordon plans to focus on writing and touring with his solo band. But, he added, the schedules for Phish and solo projects will result in „a balance being achieved.“
Gordon will bring his solo band to the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Sept. 11. Visit www.bearsvilletheater or call 845-679-4406 for information.

Höre mich gerade durch ein paar Aufnahmen von der 98er Euro Tour, die von einem Phan bei Lossless legs gerade hochgeladen wurden, in der Absicht ein paar Deadheads Phish näherzubringen. Jedenfalls sind die Aufnahmen (AUD) erstmal sehr gut, also so richtig gut! Und die Shows sowieso!!
Das 2. Set des dritten und letzten Gastspiels in Copenhagen ist mal sehr fett und ziemlich psychedelisch: Ghost > Runaway Jim > Prince Caspian, You Enjoy Myself.
Am Abend zuvor wurde einer meiner absoluten lieblingsjams gespielt, nämlich Tweezer > 2001, wer da noch still sitzen kann muss klinisch tot sein
Auch die beiden Konzerte in Prage sind echt klasse, von denen der 2. Abend ja veröffentlich wurde, wenn ich mich recht entsinne. Zurecht jedenfalls, schon das Seque von Ghost in Cities war da das Eintittsgeld wert und im 2. Set folgten dann noch 20 aufregende Minuten Piper.
Hoffentlich ist bald Festival 8, bin so gespannt was denn nun als Halloween-Costume gespielt wird.
