Es war ein außergewöhnlicher Abend in Amsterdam. Nach den mehrtägigen Tokio- und London-Shows in den letzten Jahren hat Hammill nun auch die Tour an das Konzept der Skeleton of Songs angelehnt. Einer der drei besten Hammill-Gigs, die ich gesehen habe. Die Freude auf die Doppelgigs steigt.

Gut gelaunt und gut bei Stimme gab es folgende Setlist:

Der erste Abend in Dortmund hat das Amstadamer Konzert nochmal übertroffen. Hammill war extrem gut gelaunt, hat für seine Verhältnisse viel erzählt und hat ein enorm kraftvolles und sehr intensives Set gespielt. Ich bin immer noch sehr beeindruckt und freue mich auf den zweiten Abend.

Am 25.07. gibt es einen Special-Gig in Breitenbach am Herzberg in der Kirche Breitenbach. Es gibt Gerüchte, dass Hammill etwas außergewöhnliches spielen wird.

Klingt gut, atom! Auch die beiden Mitschnitte aus Nürnberg sind toll. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf das Wochenende im Quasimodo.

Der zweite Abend war vom Set her zwar etwas ruhiger aber genauso intensiv. „Easy To Slip Away“ war die perfekte Anknüpfung an die Zugabe des Vorabends, dazu gab es mit „Again“ eine der ganz raren zweiten Zugaben. Hammill war sichtlich gerührt. Wunderbare Setlist, die in ihrer Dramaturgie perfekt gepasst hat. Insgesamt war es für mich vielleicht das beste Hammill-Konzert überhaupt.
