Paul’s Style ist astrein, da gibt es nix zu mäkeln. Den, den holen wir stylemäßig nienich ein, da sollten wir mal ganz zurückhaltend bleiben.--

Staring at a grey sky, try to paint it blue - Teenage BlueLiam1994So richtig lohnen tut sich das nicht. Vinyl und die Doppel-CD sind zusammen immer noch billiger als das Boxset. Nur für die Bilder muss ich das glaub ich nicht haben.
3 Extratitel auf der CD. Aus einem anderen Forum:
The box set CD has three bonus tracks, „(I’m A) Roadrunner,“ „Dusk Till Dawn“ and a Kybert/Moons remix of „White Sky.“ Strangely, the regular non-box set CD/DVD edition DOES NOT contain those bonus tracks.
What’s missing from the box? Two Japanese bonus tracks, „I Walk In The Clouds“ and „Praise If You Wanna.“ I’d imagine those will be B-sides as part of the UK single campaign. And, there’s also a 7 inch (Saturns Pattern song single) listed on Japanese sites that have another track, „Sun Goes“ listed as the B-side.

IHMO there ARE tunes on the album I have no doubt I’ll be listening to years from now. For instance, the song „Going My Way“ is just incredible. The studio versions of tunes you’ve heard via Colin’s recording, „I’m Where I Should Be,“ Saturns Pattern,“ and „These City Streets“ are quite, quite good and examples of where the studio trickery and pro-tools (of which I was a huge critic when he initially said he was utilising to it’s fullest) really shine musically, but he doesn’t use the vocal enhancements/distortion. The songs you’ve not heard, including „Going My Way,“ „Phoenix,“ „Pick It up“ and to a lesser extent, „In The Car,“ are much more „soulful“ (and I use that term not as literal as you might think), and you all know me by now, that’s most definitely what I respond to.
The single „Saturns Pattern“ goes out to radio at the end of March (perhaps the video they were shooting in Paris is for it as well) and it’s DECIDEDLY more musically adventurous, as I can honestly say the rest of the album is, so it’ll be interesting to see the reactions. And I hope it gets those back that were turned off by the first two, and doesn’t lose those that were giddy over them.

Beasley labert da über Musik, über Soul, über Sounds und die Produktion und verliert kein Wort zu dem Outfit. Wissen die etwas nicht, was uns hier wirklich interessiert???
Dann muss es wohl doch die große Box werden! :sonne:

Staring at a grey sky, try to paint it blue - Teenage BlueDu kapierst überhaupt nicht was ich meine, tust es als unwichtig ab (Weller und Style- unwichtig und so oder immer geil) und wirfst dich jetzt schon wieder schuetzend vor die Platte. Kritiker sind gleich Basher und die Tatasche, dass viele Altfans gar nicht mehr posten weil sie u.a. nichts mehr mit seiner Musik anfangen können ist ja eher zu vernachlaessigen.
Ne, alles klar hier im Thread und bei Paul ist „wie immer“ alles klasse. Kommunikation funktioniert unter Erwachsenen ohne fuckin Smileys, meiner Ansicht nach. Savages!--
