Noel Gallagher’s revealed to 6 Music that Oasis are heading into the studio soon to record the next batch of new material.

Noel says they’ve got around 11 new songs which they didn’t need for Don’t Believe The Truth – and they’re planning to record soon.

And at least one track, written by Liam, will be released, as Noel explained: „There’s one song that he (Liam) wrote that was left off called The Boy With The Blues, which I think we’re going to put out as just a single. It’s not going to be on the next album.“

He continued: „That might be out early next year, but we don’t know yet. It depends if we get the time to go into the studio because we’re pretty full-on until next March.“

Noel was speaking as he picked up two Q Awards in London – one for Best Album and the other, The People’s Choice Award.

The band are also currently on a break from their world tour which hits the UK on December 10 at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium.

die hätte ich in hh auch lieber geahbt. die show von art brut kenne ich nämlich schon auswendig. beim dritten mal ist das auch nicht mehr lustig und den gig vom juli werden sie eh nicht toppen können.

Art Brut hätte ich gern gesehen, habe ich in Köln verpasst, aber auch für the Coral würde ich einen guten Preis zahlen, insofern lohnt sich das Oasis Konzert doppelt.

ich habe vorhin mal wieder The Contino Sessions von Death in Vegas gehört, da ist es mir wieder übel aufgestossen, das Noel nicht mit den jungs zusammen paßte. ich hätte wahnsinng gerne gehört, was da heraus gekommen wäre. ich bin mir sicher, das wäre in richtung Be Here Now gegangen. aber so ist es schade. naja, man kann ja nicht alles haben.
