MozzaErnüchternde Wertungen. Fast überall deutlich zu wenig.
Auf der Platte ist eben kaum ein mitreißendes Stück. „She Is Love“ ist recht charmant, aber sonst? Der Rest ist schon sehr „by the numbers“ musiziert. Gut, dass sie sich mit den beiden Nachfolgern wieder aufrafften und steigerten.

Nach „Be Here Now“ war das Momentum (im Sinne der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung) sicherlich erst einmal verspielt, warum auch immer. Das stimmt, aber spielt für mich keine Rolle. An „Dig Out Your Soul“ kommt kaum etwas heran. An „The Turning“, „Waiting For The Rapture“, „I’m Outta Time“, „Falling Down“ oder „Soldier On“ ist doch kaum etwas auszusetzen.

Die genannten Songs sind gut, keine Frage. Aber bis auf „I’m outta time“ reichen sie nicht an die Großtaten der ersten drei Alben und „Heathen Chemistry“ ran.
