Eine Einzelwertung bei diesem Album fällt mir schwer, lasse das mal weg. Für mich ein Album das in der Wertung mit der Zeit langsam gewachsen ist, und ab eines AHA! Effektes ganz klar ***** bekommt.--

Nein, der Sänger ist wohl untergetaucht; angeblich verdingte er sich eine Zeitlang bei einem Wanderzirkus, dann hat er in Bulgarien dem Volk bei der Folklore zugehört und diese field recordings veröffentlicht.
Ein Stück hat Jeff Mangum allerdings nach „In the aeroplane“ noch live aufgeführt, „Little Birds“. Es zeigt, wohin die musikalische Reise hätte gehen können, und ich wäre gern mitgegangen. Ich finds momentan nicht mehr im Netz, bei Interesse PN.

Hat Jeff Magnum nicht im letzten Jahr auf dem Apples In Stereo Album ein paar Instrumente gespielt? Hatte da was gelesen… Dann wäre DAS nämlich sein letztes musikalisches Lebenszeichen.

Stimmt, er mischt wohl ab und zu bei den Bands des Elephant-Six-Kollektivs mit (Apples in Stereo, Elf Power, Olivia Tremor Control).
