WerbungHBO plant eine Perry Mason Origins-Serie mit Matthew Rhys. Ich hab schon lang kein Perry Mason mehr gesehen, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, war das aber immer relativ brav. Wenn sich jetzt HBO einer braven Serie annimmt und die in L.A. anno 1932 rebootet, klingt das recht vielsprechend.

Ich hab schon lang kein Perry Mason mehr gesehen, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, war das aber immer relativ brav. Wenn sich jetzt HBO einer braven Serie annimmt und die in L.A. anno 1932 rebootet, klingt das recht vielsprechend.
Das würde ich auch ansehen. Das Apple-Zeug klingt dagegen samt und sonders langweilig, wie die Firma eben.

Stephen Dorff hat wohl einen recht guten Eindruck mit TD3 hinterlassen. Ok, und David Ayer, der hat entweder sehr gute Filme gemacht oder sehr schlechte, dazwischen nichts.

Es ist Breitling, scheiß auf deine Aldi-Uhr / Auf meinem nächstem Cover halt ich das ExcaliburNaja, „enttäuschend“ finde ich jetzt ein wenig hart, da sind doch immer wieder echte Highlights dabei, auch wenn die Qualität von Episode zu Episode durchaus starken Schwankungen unterliegt. Wobei mir gerade bewusst wird, dass mir immer noch drei Folgen aus Season 4 fehlen… :ugly:

Them's fightin' words.Ich vermute, uns wird etwas völlig anderes mit relativ losen Berührungspunkten erwarten, nicht umsonst sprechen die Showrunner von einem „Remix“ des Quellmaterials. Von Jeremy Irons‘ Knarzstimme krieg ich nie genug, und Lindelof hat nach THE LEFTOVERS eh erstmal Kredit bei mir. Doch, bin vorsichtig optimistisch.

Würde auch sagen, die ist gefühlt ziemlich unterm Radar geflogen. Selbst hatte ich einen Heidenspaß damit, die Darsteller sind durchweg gut bis großartig (macht schon was her, wenn Brian fucking Cox es performance-seitig nichtmal in die persönlichen Top 5 schafft).--

Super, da geht es mir wie dir, das ist für mich nach The Leftovers absolute Pflicht, egal worum es geht.
Succession hab ich seit etlicher Zeit auf meiner Watchlist (genauso wie Pose, ich glaube die sind auch zeitgleich angelaufen), nur kommt halt immer was dazwischen.--

[…]Das ist ein bisschen wie bei den Comics: Man traut sich nicht recht an das source material heran (verständlich) und baut Geschichten „drumherum“. Und der Zuschauer/Leser fragt sich, warum da dann überhaupt noch Watchmen drauf stehen muss. Aber sei’s drum, vielleicht sehe ich ja mal rein.
