„Kippington Lodge“ waren eine britische Pop Band, die im genannten Zeitraum eine überschaubare Anzahl an Songs (Singles, EP’s) veröffentlichten. Die sind auf dieser Compi versammelt. Irgendwie „typischer“ Pop dieser Zeit. Sehr melodisch, kann man sehr gut hören. Die zwei bekanntesten Mitglieder waren Brinsley Schwarz und Nick Lowe ….

onkel-tom Yep. Höre das Album aber lange nicht so gut wie er.
Bin schon immer großer Fan dieses Albums gewesen. Klasse Songwriting, super Voice, feine Melodien, dazu ein passendes Soundkostüm. Ein Album, dass auch aufgrund seiner Durchgängigkeit und seines flows voll bei mir punkten kann. Es ist auch die musikalische Verwandtschaft zu Prince, die mir so gefällt.
