dr.musicDir gefällt sie, ich bin durch die sehr schlechte Bewertung Carlo Mays im DLF weggeblieben. Bekommt der gute Jarvis Bonus-Punkte?;-)
Überhaupt nicht. Ich bin im Vorfeld recht skeptisch gewesen, und auch nicht als übermäßiger Pulp-Glorifizierer bekannt. Cocker hat mich aber beim Probe- und jetzt Mehrfachhören nach Anschaffung überzeugt – feines Album.
Die Musik ist durchgehend gefällig. Man muss allerdings seinen Sarkasmus mögen. Ich tue das, aber Songtitel wie „I Will Kill Again” bei einer Ballade oder auch „Cunts Still Rule the World” sind sicher nicht jedermanns Sache.
Auch hier im Forum sind die Stimmen überwiegend positiv. Allein Dominick konnte mit ihr nichts anfangen. Ich glaube, dir würde sie auch gefallen.
