Ich höre sie so zwischendurch mal ganz gerne. Ist das was für Dich und wie sind die Aufnahmen klangmäßig aus dieser Zeit?

Eindeutig was für mich. Weit mehr als Schlager, was der Knef als Etikett üblicherweise angeheftet wird, eher Chanson, z.T. sehr feinsinnig getextet und gut gesungen.
Musikalisch stört mich nur ihr Akzent bei englischen Texten, aber dafür höre ich die Band extrem gern – sowas von groovy, und brillante Bläserarrangements.
Die Aufnahme zischelt ein bisschen und ist flächig, da hört man das Alter, aber die Live-Atmosphäre ist gut erhalten geblieben. ****
