Wie hörst Du sie denn zur Zeit??Vorläufig: Blitzen Trapper mit einem mindestens guten Album (ist erst einmal gelaufen und das war schon fesselnd). The Gaslight Anthem mit business as usual. Eingängig, catchy, Hymnen. Und das alles in schön. Tom Petty beginnt mich nach dem dritten Durchlauf zu begeistern.

Das Pernice Brothers-Album hat nicht in Reihe die grandiosen Songs wie der Vorgänger „Live a little“, der mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen ist. Ist aber auch keine Fehlkauf, dafür schüttelt die Band immer noch die ein oder andere Perle aus dem Ärmel (hier z.B. „The loving kind“ oder „Newport news“). Irgendwie auch routiniert, im positiven Sinn allerdings.
