Ebenfalls ****1/2, nur die Cure gefiel mir noch ein Stück besser.

Und warum magst du die Mountain Goats nicht? Weil viel Gewicht auf den Lyrics liegt? ;)
4 Alben aus meiner Liste wurden bisher genannt, glaube ich. Aber das ist OK; ich fühle mich auch (weit) außerhalb der Top 20 sehr wohl.

Von Radiohead sagen mir eigentlich nur die früheren Werke zu. Die Mountain Goats mag ich schon, ich habe aber kein Album von ihnen. Gehaltvolle Lyrics schrecken mich nicht ab, sind aber nicht vordergründig dafür, ob mich Musik packt. Das funktioniert bei mir fast ausschließlich über Melodien und Instrumentierung. Und der Rocker in mir wird nie sterben…
