Da das mein All-Time-No 1 Album ist muss ich hier mal kurz klugscheißen: Das Album ist von 1983.

Dann hätte unser alter, gemeinsamer Kumpel Paul ja nur ein Jahr Zeit gehabt, Graceland aufzunehmen – denn das kam 1986 heraus.

Lord I tried to see it through / But it was too much for meDas passt nicht, stimmt. Krass, wie unterschiedlich die Alben sind und klingen. Graceland wirkt ein bisschen wie aus der Zeit gefallen. H&B hat halt diesen typischen 80er Sound. Die Rhythmen ähneln sich nur ein bisschen.

Krass, wie unterschiedlich die Alben sind und klingen. Graceland wirkt ein bisschen wie aus der Zeit gefallen. H&B hat halt diesen typischen 80er Sound. Die Rhythmen ähneln sich nur ein bisschen.
Typischer 80er-Sound würde ich so nicht sagen. Das Album ist extrem filigran arrangiert und eingespielt, das ist nicht typisch für die 80er an sich.
