madmartl Grandaddy – Sumday (2003)
Habe die beiden Vorgängeralben. Die Band ist nach 2000 bei mir völlig untergegangen. Vor drei Jahren nochmals rausgekramt. Kamen nicht über ***1/2 und *** hinaus. Die Stimme zieht mich nicht gerade an.
Ja, ganz fröhlich klingt der Gesang nicht, das Album finde ich aber ganz gut mit ****-. Mehr kenne ich aber nicht von ihnen, nur ein Soloalbum von Jason Lytle steht noch hier.

Sonic Youth bei dir Kandidat für die Top 20 der Naugthies?Britney? Nee, keine Chance, in meine Sammlung zu kommen. Einzelne Tracks sind nett, aber auf Albumlänge ziemlich ermüdend. Als Background zum Franzöischlernen ganz angenehm. Die ZDF-Doku The True Story of Britney Spears ist trotzdem interessant.
Darf man wahrscheinlich gar nicht so laut sagen; Sonic Youth sind natürlich gut, aber so richtige Begeisterung kann ich nicht aufbringen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
