Man sollte dazu evtl. wissen, dass Morrissey bis heute an den Folgen eines Gerichtsprozesses laboriert, bei dem ihn Mike Joyce und Andy Rourke (Ex-Smiths) 1996 vor den High Court zerrten. Sollte die römische Polizei jetzt ähnliches mit ihm veranstalten, will ich nicht wissen wie sich das auf die gerade in Rom entstehende Platte auswirkt. Born under a bad sign!!!--

Am Freitag waren vor allem „Staircase“ und „Mute Witness“ im S&G echte crowdpleaser. War da eigentlich schon mal jemand von Euch? Das Epizentrum der Moz-Welt am 1. Freitag im Monat, dort trifft sich Manchester, England und Afficionados aus der ganzen Welt. Ohne das Ereignis ist das wie Katholik sein ohne Kommunion…absolut unbeschreiblich – vergesst alle „Indie“-Discos weit und breit (ok, außer der im Kölner Tsunami)

"And everything I know is what I need to know and everything I do's been done before."Ich finde es zumindest interessant, solche Einordnungen einmal als Gedankenspiel und in Klammern vorzunehmen. Das auf „Bona Drag“ versammelte Material würde bei mir wohl um den den Spitzenplatz konkurrieren, „Swords“ verdeutlicht immerhin, wie reichhaltig die Schaffensphase um „You Are The Quarry“ und „Ringleader“ eigentlich war. Da gab es einige sehr feine Tracks, die die entsprechenden LPs durchaus bereichert hätten.

Da mein Begeisterungspulver bei diesem Künstler versagt, muss ich wohl eine Jammerkarte ausspielen.

Allzu viele Jammerkarten hast du nicht, oder? Ich habe mittlerweile fast sämtliche Jammerkarten im Keller gehortet, weil ich einen unfassbar hohen Jammer-Verbrauch habe.
