das restliche album ist NICHT wie der titelsong selbst. wie jan dark schon sagte. kein bisschen rockig aber auf alle fälle ein sog.GROWER

Nach dem großartigen „Car wheels…“ war ich von „meinem“ zweiten Lu-Album schon enttäuscht!--

das is aber schade jan w. es gibt da so kleine pillen
zu tante lu – mir gefällts. in einer rangfolge der letzten 3 alben
(die einzigen die ich habe/kenne) wärs allerdings hinter world und
car wheels auch nur auf platz 3. liegt aber daran dass die anderen
beiden so grandios sind..schön gruss

Bei mir growt da aber nicht so viel….
Nach dem großartigen „Car wheels…“ war ich von „meinem“ zweiten Lu-Album schon enttäuscht!N' büschen ist die schon gewachsen. Die Platte ist gut, aber nicht so überragend wie Car Wheels!

Ich hab die DVD seit dem Wochenende und kann sie Fans sehr empfehlen (obwohl Lu schwarz gefärbte Haare hat. ;) ) Klasse Begleitband, um einiges besser als die Band, mit der sie zu „World Without Tears“ auf Tour gegangen ist. U.a. dabei: Jim Lauderdale als Backgroundsänger und an der Akustikgitarre.

oh, na wenn ich das früher gewusst hätte… dass sie schwarze haare hat (wobei das auf dem foto aber eher nach dunkelbraun aussieht)… dann hätte ich die DVD bestimmt nicht bestellt. völlig an mir vorbei gegangen (die DVD überhaupt). gerade zufällig bei amazon gefunden… dafür ist sie jetzt sehr günstig zu haben.
… schöne setlist.bessere live-band als die, mit der sie zu „world without tears“ auf tour war? das geht?!

Dirty, dirty feet from the concert in the grass / I wanted to believe that freedom there could last (Willy Mason)hat jemand die diesjährige „no depression“-ausgabe mit lucinda auf dem titel? bei glitterhouse gibt’s sie leider nicht (mehr)… und/oder die „word“-titelstory? letztere ist allerdings schon etwas älter (das magazin war zu dem zeitpunkt noch nicht in hamburg zu bekommen). würde mich trotzdem interessieren…
