Ich bin zwar erst seit kurzer Zeit dabei, Joe Henry zu „entdecken“, aber nach dem, was ich bisher gehört habe, scheint er keine schwachen Alben zu machen. Egal in welchem Genre er sich gerade tummelt, ob Singer/Songwriter, Country, Jazz, Soul oder Blues, er ist immer nahe an der Perfektion. Für mich spielt er fast in einer eigenen Liga…

Sehr schönes Update @lotterlotta. Selbst bin ich auch schon lange mit Joe Henry beschäftigt obwohl er es mir als Vinylist leider nicht leicht gemacht hat..gehört er bei mir in die Reihe der großen unterschätzten Songwriter. Das Vinyl Reissue von „Civillians“ und „Blood From The Stars“ sind eine Reisenfreude und auch fantastisch. Ende des Jahres gibts noch „Invisible Hour“ und ich hoffe er setzt die Vinyl RI Serie fort mit „Tiny Voices“ bis „Trampoline“. Mal schauen ob er genug verkauft und wweitermacht.
