Bei the music.com gibt es immer noch den Monomix von „Axis…“ auf 200g-Classic-Records-Lp für 33 Dollar. Ist interessant, weil Classic ja gerade schließt.

Da der Gitarrist und Sänger aber tot ist, bzw. schon 17 Jahre tot war, als dieselben Begleitmusiker noch etwas dazu spielten, kann man ihn wohl kaum fragen, ob ihm das recht war. Und wenn ich eine Jimi Hendrix Platte kaufe, dann möchte ich auch sicher sein, das es von ihm authorisiert ist. So ist die Musik dann eben nicht dieselbe, sondern allerhöchstens vielleicht ähnlich. Und Hendrixnachahmer gibt es schon zu viele, ich will nur den echten.

Dann gibt es nur eine Konsequenz: nur die drei zu Lebzeiten veröffentlichten Studioplatten behalten, den Rest aussortieren, da „Band of Gypsies“ nur eine widerwillige Vertragserfüllung an Ed Chalpin war. Mit den Aufnahmen war Hendrix sehr unzufrieden. Kommt man dann auch mit aus, keine Frage. Neue Dinge entdeckt man auch nach vierzig Jahren noch auf diesen Platten!

Schaut da mal wieder rein !! Es tut sich besonders per videos gutes für JIMI…eine
Freude für jeden, der sich Zeit dafür nimmt. Klar ‚made in usa‘ – aber alles aus vortrefflichster und menschlichster Leidenschaft und Liebe für Jimi Hendrix.
Absolut empfehlenswert !--
