Gesamtwertung: gute ***

Vielleicht muß man das Album zwingend vor dem Hintergrund der politischen Zusammenhänge der späten 80er-Jahre beurteilen.
Aber während sich das ebenfalls sehr politische Vorgängeralbum „Lives in the Balance“ auch heute noch gut hören läßt, halte ich „World in Motion“ für ein denkbar unvorteilhaft gealtertes Album.
Die Texte „predigen“ zu sehr und auch der Bandsound klingt zu deutlich nach den 80er-Jahren.
Was bleibt ist aber seine tolle Stimme.
