Ich hatte ihn eigentlich immer nur so halb auf dem Schirm, aber beim Decoy-Gig mit Joe McPhee hat er mich total umgehauen.
Gerade höre ich Stephen O’Malley & Steve Noble – St. Francis Duo, da wird seine Live-Energie sehr gut eingefangen. Atemberaubend.--

Geht mir ähnlich, darum auch meine Neugierde! Decoy konnte ich leider noch nie live hören, Noble auch nicht.

Ja, für mich auch. Er ist auch nicht unbedingt der spannende Part in der Geschichte. Aber letztlich sind seine Gitarren-Drones ein schöner Gegenpart zu Nobles Berserker Drumming (ohne ihm dabei Detailreichtum oder Filigranität absprechen zu wollen!).
Ich kann gar nicht einschätzen, ob diese Zusammenarbeit etwas für Dich sein könnte, aber mich begeistert es gerade ziemlich.--
