    In 1974 the band toured the United States and Canada to great acclaim, recording material at concerts in Toronto and New York City. The
    following year edited highlightswere released by Manticore as the live album Cook . This newly re-mastered limited edition boxed set of the album also includes two additional CDs featuring the band s entire set of their concert in Central Park, NYC on August 31st 1974, newly remixed from the original 16-track master tapes. The set also includes a lavishly illustrated booklet, new essay, fully restored artwork and two collectable postcards.

    To celebrate the 25th anniversary of IQ´s classic album “The Wake“, GEP is to release an extraordinary 4 disc edition of this recording.

    The 4-disc-boxed set includes:

    the remastered version of the album

    two additional discs with:
    work in progress
    rough mixes
    studio outtakes
    demos
    writing sessions

    a fourth disc containing:
    47 minutes of ultra-rare live video from 1984 (the oldest existing footage of the band)
    a full album video commentary by Peter Nicholls, Mike Holmes and Paul Cook
    the multitrack files for a DIY-mix of the song “Corners“
    tons of additional audio-material and interviews as mp3 files.

    a 60-page-full-colour-booklet, featuring new artwork, unseen photographs, memorabila and a documentary of the album´s history with contributions from all members of the band.

    On 4 October 2010, EMI / Harvest will release ‘An Introduction To Syd Barrett’ a brand new collection that will bring together for the first time the tracks of Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett on one compilation. David Gilmour, who originally worked with Syd Barrett on the solo albums by co-producing ‘The Madcap Laughs’ and as producer of ‘Barrett’ has taken the role of executive producer for the album and has, along with Damon Iddins and Andy Jackson at Astoria Studios, remixed five tracks including Octopus, She Took A Long Cool Look, Dominoes and Here I Go on which David Gilmour has added and played bass guitar. Pink Floyd’s Matilda Mother also receives a fresh 2010 Mix.Brand new artwork has been provided by Storm Thorgerson and his estimable studio.
