Die Vierer-Box von Aretha im Fillmore habe ich leider auch verpasst bzw. die war in Europa glaub ich gar nie auf dem Markt, und Läden, die sie noch importiert hätten, gab es hier damals schon nicht mehr … habe mich mit der 2CD-Version hier beholfen, das reicht mir dann wohl auch:

Ja, das ist die mittelgroße Aretha At Fillmore-Ausgabe. Die Komplettausgabe wäre dann außerdem noch inklusive King Curtis At Fillmore, plus, plus, plus. Feine Sache, aber wie gesagt … Eine Alternative ist dann eben die kleine oder mittlere Aretha-Ausgabe plus die King Curtis At Fillmore. Kann man wohl ganz gut mit leben.

Was immer man von diesen Aufnahmen hat ist tolle Musik …. hab ja sonst (länger) nicht mehr den „completist turkey“, aber in diesem Fall ist auch die opulente Version wirklich unverzichtbar …..

Haha, und ich mache noch dumme Scherze darüber, dass der Markt für seltene Tonträger den Gesetzen des Drogenmarktes folgt.
