Ein sehr feines Geschenk von heute Morgen – Sonaten für Hammerklavier und obligate Violine von Johann Franz Sterkel, einem eins berühmten Zeitgenossen von Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, eingespielt letztes Jahr von Els Biesemans am Hammerklavier und Meret Lüthi an der Geige. Toll!

Eine der Neuheiten, die ich gestern mitnahm … die Messa a quattro voci da cappella wurde 1650 in Venedig veröffentlicht, von derselben Ausgabe stammt auch die abschliessende Laetaniae della Beata Vergine, dazwischen gibt es das Gloria a 7 voci concertato con due violini et […] 4 tromboni und die „Pianto della Madonna“ aus der Sammlung „Selva morale e spirituale“ (Venedig 1641) und eine kurze Sinfonia von Biagio Marini, die als Auftakt zur „Pianto“ dient. Solistin in der Marienklage ist Alena Dantcheva, die sonst auch im Chor mitsingt.
