Werther diese Saison hier an der Oper, kenne sie noch gar nicht. Sollte ich das ändern?

Denke schon – kenne die Oper aber selbst noch nicht sehr gut, sieht aus als würd ich sie im Dezember in Duisburg sehen. Die „klassische“ Einspielung ist wohl die von Prêtre mit de los Angeles und Gedda, die beste gemäss Löbl/Werba jene von Colin Davis (es gibt eine libretto-lose billige Neuausgabe, die ich holen werde, Libretto habe ich in der EMI GROC-Ausgabe der Prêtre-Einspielung). Davis kaufe ich mir wohl vorher noch.

meiner Meinung nach eine der beeindruckendsten Aufnahmen von Bruckner 5 – der Mitschnitt stammt aus 1990 @Brucknerkirche St. Florian und ist ein bewegendes Dokument des tiefen Brucknerverständnisses von Kurt Eichhorn….unverzichtbar !!

Ja, sehr gut! Und gerade erst erschienen – ich hatte gedacht ich gäbe eine Vorbestellung auf, aber die CD war dann doch innert vier, fünf Tagen da – bestelle gerne hie und da ein paar der „please buy me now“-Angebote von Hyperion und die kam dann mit dazu, ich bin da ein klasssisches Opfer des Newsletters mit Rabatt-Code geworden
