gypsy tail windUnd danke für die weiteren Schnittke-Hinweise – die zweite Cello/Klavier-CD habe ich schon eine Ewigkeit im Auge, die erste ist mir neu. Enthalten beide dieselben Werke oder ergänzen sich sich? Und falls ersteres der Fall ist, welche lohnt mehr?

Die Werke sind dieselben, neben den beiden Cellosonaten gibt es je den Gynt-Epilog und die Musica Nostalgica. Die Geringas-Einspielung steht – Du weißt das – fern von hier, ich kann nicht nachhören. Aber sie ist keineswegs ein Fehler. Ivashkin und Schnittke, Irina, aber auch nicht. Ich möchte keine von beiden missen, die Geringas sind etwas weniger kalt im Ton, nach meiner Erinnerung. Was bei dieser Musik auch eine Kunst ist.
