"Kunst ist schön, macht aber viel Arbeit" (K. Valentin)Vorhin am TV Mozarts Requiem mit Abbado aus Luzern – die jüngst erwähnte Aufnahme, die auch auf DVD greifbar ist. Klasse! Hingeschaut habe ich nur selten, fast immer hat mich Abbados Schlag ziemlich verwirrt – das passte alles perfekt zu den Bewegungen der Musik (oder eben jeden aber, die er der Musik formend abgewann), aber als Musiker war das gewiss gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Jetzt ein Ohr voll aus dieser Neuankunft (von Abbado kam in derselben Sendung der 1979/80er „Maskenball“):
Für heute wohl mal die Dreigroschenmusik und dann das Violinkonzert (dass es von Weill ein solches überhaupt gibt, ist mir neu).

Zur Nacht noch die letzte Kirchhof-CD aus der Vivarte-Box – „Airs de Cour“ aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, gesetzt von Gabriel Bataille, zumeist aus unbekannter Hand. Es singen Marie Claude Vallin (Sopran) und Max van Egmond (Bariton), Kirchhof begleitet an der Laute, die Aufnahmen stammen von 1991.
