Thomas Zehetmair – The Teldec Recordings
CD 8 mit Beethovens Frühlings- und Kreutzersonate, aufgenommen 1985 mit Malcolm Frager an einem Hammerklavier von 1805. Den Abschluss macht Schumanns Fantasie C-Dur für Violine und Orchester Op. 131 mit dem Philharmonia Orchestra unter Christoph Eschenbach, aufgenommen 1988 in London. Während derselben Sessions wurde auch Schumanns Violinkonzert eingespielt, das CD 10 abschliesst. Davor gibt’s auf CD 10 Schubert: das Konzertstück D-Dur (D 345), die Polonaise B-Dur (D 580) und das Rondo A-Dur (D 438) mit der Deutschen Kammerphilharmonie unter Zehetmair selbst (rec. 1990), sowie das Rondo brilliant h-Moll (D 895) mit David Levine am Klavier (rec. 1980). Auf CD 11 geht es weiter mit Schumann: die Violinsonaten Nr. 1 a-Moll Op. 105 und Nr. 2 d-Moll Op. 121 sowie die Märchenbilder Op. 113 (Zehetmair an der Bratsche) mit Cyprien Katsaris am Klavier, aufgenommen 1987.

Mozarts Streichquintett Nr. 3 C-Dur (KV 515) und Mendelssohns Klaviertrio Nr. 2 c-Moll Op. 66, aufgenommen im März 1964 bzw. im November 1963. Der Pianist bei Mendelssohn ist Leonard Pennario, die zugezogenen Streicher sind immer ungefähr dieselben Leute: William Primrose, der regelmässige Trio-Partner (Beethoven Streichtrios) an der Bratsche, Israel Baker an der Violine etc.

Bin inzwischen an der dritten der vier CDs mit Kammerkonzerten von Vivaldi, die Il Giardino Armonico zwischen 1990 und 1992 aufgenommen haben. Sehr schöne Aufnahmen!

Die Kantate „Ich habe genug“ (BWV 82a) gehört zweifellos zum Schönsten, was es gibt. Und Dessay kriegt das alles erstaunlicherweise hin – und ich glaube fest daran, dass ich das nicht nur so höre, weil ich ihrer Stimme längst verfallen bin, auch beim wiederholten Hören überzeugt mich diese CD sehr.
